real banana bread recipe


hello it is pearl and i'm going to give you my aunt mel's recipe for banana bread she calls it go nut's
i agree go nuts. because you well beg for more you might even be on your feet .My mom is going to help me write becayse it is so long my hand might even be sore. HaHa. Here it is.

GO NUTS BANANA BREAD

1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of canola oil
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
3 TBSP milk
2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans or my favourite - chocolate chips!

  • Lightly coat insides of bread loaf pan with oil.
  • Add 1 tsp of flour into pan and tap until bottom and sides are lightly dusted.
  • Preheat oven oven to 350˚
  • In a larger mixing bowl, stir sugar and oil with fork. Whisk in eggs, bananas and milk until blended.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, blend flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Spoon into banana mixture with vanilla and 2/3 of the nuts.
  • Mix well and pour into loaf pan.
  • Bake 1 hour till loaf is springy to the touch.
  • Cool upright in pan for 10 minutes, then pop out odf pan and cool on wre before slicing.
  • Top with remaining nuts.
